Jamaican Seville Orange and lemongrass juice

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 2- 3 stalks lemongrass
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 Seville orange or regular orange
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  1. Put water and lemongrass into a pot. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3 - 4 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat; strain lemongrass.
  3. Allow to cool, then sweeten with sugar to taste.
  4. Thinly slice the orange and add it to the lemongrass tea.
  5. Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate until cool.
  6. Serve with ice.
