READ TANAYIA’S STORY: SUPPER CLUB, JAMAICAN STYLE
- 6 cups water
- 2- 3 stalks lemongrass
- Sugar to taste
- 1 Seville orange or regular orange
- Ice for serving
- Put water and lemongrass into a pot. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3 - 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat; strain lemongrass.
- Allow to cool, then sweeten with sugar to taste.
- Thinly slice the orange and add it to the lemongrass tea.
- Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate until cool.
- Serve with ice.
